Laman Hendricks
Acrobatic Gymnast, Azerbaijani and Georgian folk dancer, teacher, choreographer
Artistic Director and Founder of Dances of Caucasus
Laman Hendricks was born in Azerbaijan. She has studied classical ballet, acrobatic gymnastics, international folk dances of Azerbaijan, Georgian, regional dances of the Caucasus, Russian, India, and many more. She was trained in acrobatic gymnastics by International Judge and Head Coach of the Azerbaijani National Team, Irada Gurbanova, and in folk dance by Nominated Artist of Azerbaijan, Elchin Qedimov and Zulfiyya Ibrahimova. In 2012 she moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where she founded Dances Of Caucasus. In 2015 Laman competed at the Rakkas Istanbul International Oriental Dance Festival, placing in third as a soloist in the Folk category and third in the Group Bellydance category. She participates in various dance festivals around the USA and the world. She does both male and female dances of the Caucasus region. Along with her dance, she participates in local and international events where she represents the history and culture of Azerbaijan.
Vivienne Bennett
Rhythmic Gymnast, Ballerina, Azerbaijani folk dancer

Vivienne Bennett was born in Bristol, England. She moved to Azerbaijan in 2006 and began studying rhythmic gymnastics and classical ballet at the age of four. One of her coaches is Elena Cherevatova, Ballet Mistress of the Azerbaijani Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team and the Opera Ballet of Azerbaijan. Vivienne moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 2012 where she continued rhythmic gymnastics, ballet, and Azerbaijani dance with Laman Hendricks and Elena Cherevatova. She was a finalist in the Great Alaska Talent Competition in 2016. Vivienne participated in the Youth America Grand Prix semi-finals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2017. She was a member of the Alaska Dance Theatre Performing Company in its 2016-2017 season. She is currently a member of Ballet Austin Academy and Dances of Caucasus. As well as rhythmic gymnastics, ballet, and Azerbaijani dance, Vivienne has also studied Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, American Theater, and Hip Hop.
